To make this juicing session even more fun and enjoyable, here are a few useful things you may want to use:

Alright, let’s start juicing!

Instructions:

Time needed: 10 minutes

This tasty green juice is easy and quick to make. Start by assembling your juicer and have all the ingredients at hand. Let’s go!

  1. Wash your ingredients thoroughly

Use a robust vegetable brush to clean the apple, cucumber, celery, and lime under running water. Don’t peel the apple or the cucumber. There are tons of healthy nutrients in the top layers you don’t want to throw away.

  2. Clean and wash the spinach and the kale

If you’re using organic spinach and kale, rinse them both thoroughly under running water. Otherwise, prepare a quick vegetable rinse (instructions above). When your produce is clean, shake and squeeze out any extra water. Roll the greens into little balls. This makes it easier to juice them.

  3. Squeeze or peel the lime, peel the ginger

You can choose whether you want to squeeze the lime or toss it in the juicer with the other goodies. If you want to juice it, peel it. Also, peel your ginger.

  4. Juice it!

Start by juicing the spinach and kale. Then add the ginger, celery sticks, and apple. Finally, finish it all off with the cucumber. It will flush out all the valuable leftovers that might still be in the juicer.

Finish things off by pouring the fresh, green juice over ice. Add a dash of lime juice if you didn’t juice your lime in the machine.

Make sure you serve and enjoy this juice right away. The lime adds some acidity that slows down oxidization, but as with all fresh juices, this one tastes best right after you’ve prepared it.
